Quilts Made By My Mother-In-Law

My mother-in-law began quilting when she was 65. Twenty years later, she has a lovely legacy of quilted love, gifted to her children when married 25 years and to her grandchildren upon their marriages. Recently we hosted a quilt show of these quilts.

Charity Quilts

My quilt guild works on a lot of charity quilts. Last Friday seven quilts were completed. They will be going to Union Gospel Mission, the women's shelter. These quilts were all made from donated blocks and fabrics.

A few more quilts were readied for finishing or giving to other ministries...

Trying to Catch Up!

I am no different than most quilters alive today. I have too many projects! I got behind on the RSC Challenge but I pushed to finish up yellow blocks this week.
Here are the rest of the blocks I have finished. I did not do the multi-colored blocks in April.
Blue is the color chosen for July.

I made more blocks with the floral strings.
But I have now put these aside because I am working on a graduation quilt; yes, it will be a belated gift. But I am not showing any pictures as I want it to be kept a surprise.
